I blew the dust off MW2 after I got home from work today and started to play it again :D
I really had a fun time with it. I mostly used the MP5K in Domination, but then I got really ambitious and tried going for nukes in Sabotage (while still playing the objective). I used a silenced Tar-21, and I had Harrier, Pave Low, and Nuke set. I wasn’t successful though :) I had a few awesome moments though, like defusing the bomb with less than like .3 seconds left on the clock and ran it all the way to the enemy spawn :P
This got me to thinking again about how much I love the Call of Duty series.
I truly cherish the moments when my older brother and I first discovered the beautiful times to be had while playing CoD 4: Modern Warfare online together. It was so new, so FUN! We took turns on his ps3 account after each game. Developing new and outsmarting strategies together, working to get 10th prestige and eventually completing EVERY SINGLE CHALLENGE (!), and finding new things about the guns, perks, and maps was so thrilling.
Playing CoD 4 with my older brother has to be my favorite moment of gaming in my life.
I used to get mad while playing CoD, but now I’m over that xD Getting mad while playing is just silly. It’s a video game. They’re meant to be enjoyed. I love playing CoD, even though I’m not the best, and I can even laugh when I die :D
I’ve met so many new friends playing CoD, and I’m so grateful for the all the amazing experiences we have had together.
I truly have enjoyed all of the latest Call of Duty games, and I’m excited for all the little changes. But the basics are all still there, and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I think it would be cool if something new came out though…
…something that was as fresh, fun, and innovative as Call of Duty 4 was when it came out. That would be awesome. In the meantime, I will still be playing MW2 and MW3 until it comes springing out of nowhere, and I will enjoy every exciting second of it.
